The Choruses of Region 14 are more than just a cappella ensembles; they are families. They love getting together each week and sharing friendship as well as great music.
If you like to sing, you're invited to visit any of the choruses in our region, celebrate your unique voice, experience joy, create harmony, and find your community.

Our groups love to sing for their guests and sitting in on a rehearsal is the perfect way to find out more about them, and what they can do for you! It’s truly a win-win :)
At a rehearsal, you can expect to:
hear the group perform four-part, a cappella harmony,
be invited to join the group on the risers to experience the music, friendship and fun for which each Chorus is known!
Please feel free to reach out to a chorus near you for more information about rehearsal times and locations.
Tips:
Groups begin with short physical warm-ups designed to stretch muscles and shake off the stress of the day.
Vocal warm-ups follow to prepare the voice for rehearsal and reinforce vocal techniques and skills.
Every group has a slightly different agenda for the evening, some will include a short time of business, choreography review, or breaking off into voice part rehearsals (called sectionals).
The group may have someone greet you and spend some time learning about you and your voice.
There are long periods of standing and singing so wear comfortable shoes, and do not be afraid to sit down when needed!
Lastly, bring plenty of water and maybe even a pencil ;)
Have FUN!
